Slotheis' day was observed here Sunday, with many visitors from other places here to spend the day with their parents and j children. Among them were Mrs. Bertha Wiitwer. Verna Leavitt, Reva Bunker, Mr. and M;rs. Leonard Rcber, Arliene and Mildred Mil-dred Tobler of St. George, Mrs. LaPreie Waite. Ms. Mina Stew-at, Stew-at, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Waite, Mr. and Mrs. M'arriner Cox and Mrs. Hannig and daughter, Hazel, of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Bowman and Mrs. Leon Bowman of Los Angeles are visiting here with thc-ir mother, Mrs. Lena Leavitt. Leav-itt. Grant Hardy, who recently returned re-turned from a mission to the central states, was invited to L'peak in Hurricane Sunday. The closing program of the M. I. A. was given Sunday night. A group of young people went to warm springs at Home ranch to swim on Sunday . The senior class gave a dance Friday night. Music was furnished furnish-ed by a St. George orchestra. Many from surrounding towns attended. Mrs. Mary A. Haifen of St. George was happily surprised last week by a visit from her four daughters from Nevada. They went up for a celebration of her 7Sth birthday, and dinner was served at the home of Mrs. Juanita Pulsipher. The evening was spent at the temple. |
