A campaign plan for the draw ing of tourists to southern Utah during the coming summer season, sea-son, was outlined by . directors of the Associated Civic clubs of Southern Utah at their Mav meeting in Ephraim Saturday. A publicity and advertising "program, "pro-gram, aimed to extend from the east to the west coast is included in-cluded in the plan adopted bv the directors, and work is scheduled sched-uled to start immediately on the distribution through reliable sources of 15,000 copies of a description de-scription of "Wonderlands of Utah." Committees appointed at the meeting include the following from this county: Warren Cox, finance; Jos. S. Snow, tourist; C. H. Bigelow, publicity; Ellis J. Pickett, bank, and Arthur F. Miles, industries. A movement was inaugurated calling for an immediate survey of the closed banks of southern Utah, ito determine the advisability advisa-bility of asking for a change in the state law, which, according to a recent decision of the supreme su-preme court, prohibits participation partici-pation in the benefits of the Reconstruction Re-construction Finance corporation corpora-tion plan. |
