Show Famous Cathedrals in South American Cities The Columbus cathedral In Havana was one of the numerous resting places of Christopher Columbus, whose bones were finally taken to Seville after the Spanish-American war. The cathedral is Latin-Gothic in design and contains several notable not-able paintings, but it is especially famous fa-mous for its costly silver altar.
