Show Mcknight family kkcmon Ninty-five members of the James McKnight family met at the old home town of Minersville, June 8 to enjoy a family reunion. The date being the birthday of James McKnight who was born in j 1830 and died in 190S. Members of his family arrived from California to Oregon and the day was well spent in getting better acquainted, sports and in eatiing the lovely dinner which had been prepared by the refreshment refresh-ment committee. Those from out of town who attended were: Mrs. John McKnight, Mc-Knight, Sheldon McKnight and three sons from Portland; Mrs. Ida McBride of Twin Falls Idaho; Harrison McKnight and son Neil from Blackfoot, Idaho; W. H. McKnight Mc-Knight from Moreland, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Angus Myers and families fam-ilies from Las Vegas, Nevada; Mr. land Mrs. Clair Gill ins, Mrs. ' Theone Stoneknocker, Mr. and Mrs. John Myers, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Myers, Mrs. Nina Bingham, and Henry Gillins all of Milford, Utah; Wright McKnight of Carp, Nevada; Mrs. Sarah MfcKnighl, Mrs. Lillie Leavitt and Mr. and Mrs. George Corbridge of Little-field, Little-field, Arizona, and Mrs. Otilla Jordan of Whitties, California. |
