Show MRS. JULfA A. R. HARDY DIED MAR. 21 , FUNERAL SERVICES JED FRIDAY Funeral services were held in the Tabernacle, in St. George, Friday afternoon, at 4:00 p.m., for Mrs. Julia Ann Rogers Hardy, 74, who died last Thursday morning, morn-ing, March 21, at her home, of causes incident to old age. MJrs. Hardy, who was born in Salt Lake City, October 11, 1860, was the daughter of David and Mary Ann Mayers Rogers. She came to Dixie with her parents, when a small child. On December Decem-ber 2, 1885, she was married to George W. Hardy, in the St. George Temple, by J. D. T. McAllister. Mc-Allister. In the spring of 1890, she and her husband were called to Mexico by the church. They remained there until August 10, 1910, when they returned to St. George, where they have resided until the death of Mr. Hardy a few years ago. Mrs. Hardy was the mother of five children, three of whom survive sur-vive her. They are: Mrs. Julia Irene Hardy Rowley, of Salt Lake City, and George Gile and David Rogers Hardy, of St. George. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services were under the direction of Bishop Harold S. Snow, of the South Ward. The opening prayer was offered by Joseph T. Atkin, Sr., with services ser-vices as follows: Vocal duet by Mrs Earl Cannon and William Whitehead. Speaker, Bishop James McArthur.
