The winner of this series will have the privilege of going to Salt Lake to participate in the State tournament. Fifteen players play-ers are allowed on teams playing in the tournament. Three players play-ers may be selected from other teams in the league to strengthen either team in this, tournament. The State will allow fifteen cents per mile as expense money. Each team is required to post $50 with their application to participate. parti-cipate. Half of which will be refunded if they qualify. Under these conditions there shouldn't be any difficulty in sending the team to this series providing of course that they first win from Beaver. Fans who have seen these games between these two teams feel sure that St. George can win if they keep on their toes all the time and the boys get in there and show a little of the old fighting spirit. If they win this Sunday they will have the edge, so it is up to them to go out and take this game. |
