Show ENTERPRISE The weather was beautiful here for Christmas, the people smiling and the spirit of good will seems to be everywhere manifest, The town has been treated t5 some fine entertainment the last week. . Monday night the E. H. S. presented the operetta, "A Wooden Shoe Xmas." Marilla Barlocker as Katrina and Elwin Hunt as Hana were good. Friday Treasure Chest," and Saturday night the 7th and 8th grades presented the operetta, "The night the 7th and 6th grades presented the operetta, "The Xmas Wish." The first, second and third and 4th grades were represented in some very interesting inter-esting parts. The operettas were all under the direction of -Heber M. Holt and were given free. The parents were well pleased with the ability shown by the children and feel that Mr. Holt is to be complimented on the work he is doing along this line. After the school entertainment Saturday night, the primary officers had Saita Claus appear with his bag of nuts and candy and each child present received a small bas. Miss Evelyn Gregor of North Dakota is spending the holidays here at the home of L. M. Terry. The C. W. A. men under the direction of L. W. Huntsman have completed the first west street project. Many tons of lava rock have been handled and the entire lateral ditch running through town has been lined. A very successful cement culvert ha3 been conducted by the process pro-cess of heating the ground and material used to prevent freezing. freez-ing. The grading, repairing, and graveling of sidewalks is now underway. Jesse Alger and Howard Eng-les Eng-les have gone to Delta to work. All the student who are attending at-tending the Dixie College from Enterprise, are home for the holidays. Our Sunday afternoon services were given over to the priesthood. priest-hood. They had some fine talks given by Cannon Huntsman and Heber Truman on the "Life of Christ" and by Merlin Huntsman and Luther M. Terry on the "Lif of the Prophet. Joseph Smith."
