LEASE PLACER MINING LAND Two miles of placer mining claims on the east fork of the Beaver dam wash, which are a part of a nine-mile area held by eight southern Utah business men, have been leased by the Smith Mining Company of Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, and it is expected that machinery for testing will be taken into the territory within with-in 3 0 to 60 days. H. C. Smith, agent of the company, of Washington, D. C, G. K. Gish, Needles, Calif., and WV.i. D. Dodelle of Kingman, Arizona, accompanied G. W. Hail, C. W. Love, Jr., and Wallace Blake to the claims last week end. and the lease was con- j stimulated after inspection of I the ground. |
