Show FOOTBALL FILM AT ELECTRIC "70,000 Witnesses", a murder mystery set on a football field, will be presented at the Electric theater tonight, Friday and Saturday. Sat-urday. The story deals with the murder mur-der of Brown, flash halfback, as he dashes through a clear field, for a certain touchdown. The spectators see him stricken to the ground, and baffled physicians physi-cians see him die, unable to tell the cause of his death, though the authorities know it is murder. mur-der. Starring in the cast are Phillips Phil-lips Holmes, Dorothy Jordan, Charles Ruggles and Johnny Mack Brown. The story of a woman's devotion. devo-tion. "Back Street", is to be shown Sunday and Monday. Highlights of the cast are John Boles and Irene Dunne. Adapted from the widely read novel by Fannie Hearst, it throws a new light on the "eternal "et-ernal triangle", which you will follow with breathless interest. It portrays convincingly the trials of two young people whose love is outside the law, notwithstanding notwith-standing its sincerity and depth. |
