Show VEGETABLE AND FRUIT PROJECTS TO BE INITIATED Considerable information Is needed by the growers in the county on how to raise vegetables and fruit, and how they should be cultivated, sprayed and kept free from pests and disease, according ac-cording to County Agent Walter F. Smith. The county agent and Orval Hafen, manager of the cooperative co-operative produce association want to accomplish as much of this work as possible immediately after af-ter their return from California, as well as initiate several projects and important phases of extension exten-sion work. Growers are urged to observe the following schedule of meetings, and to plan on being in attendance. It will be impossible to hunt up those who do not evince enough interest to be in attendance. The work and force of men taking charge of the meetings meet-ings is so arranged that two meetings meet-ings may be held in two different towns at the same time. Santa C'.ara. Monday and Tjcs-dsy.
