Show LEEDS Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen left for St. Louis, Missouri on Wednesday to attend the American Amer-ican Legion convention. Mr. Allen Al-len is a representative of district number seven and is a World War veteran who was wounded in action. Leeds students started to high school and college in St. George on Tuesday morning. There are thirty-one riding to school which includes those from Harrisburg and the bench. The beet seed farmers have their beet seed planted. Leeds has an allotment of about thirty acres. Mesdames Evelyn Holly. Liba Rappley and Mabel Caldwell are visitors in St. George today. Miss Lucile Harris of Salt Lake City visited friends and relatives here on Friday. Leland Sullivan has a crew of men hauling sand and helping help-ing Tiim get ready to build his new home. The M. I. A. gave their opening open-ing social on Thursday evening. A large crowd was in attendance. |
