Show BUNKERVILLE, NEV. Several car loads of people from here went to Logandale last Friday night to attend the dedication of the new school building which has been constructed con-structed this last summer. The Wattas ranch was sold at Auction in the Las Vegas court house, Monday, September 16. George Huntsman of Mesquite who has leased it for the past three years bought it. The relief society was reorgan-i reorgan-i ized last Sunday. Sisters Mina Bunker, May Adams and Mable Waite were released and the following fol-lowing sisters were chosen to take their places. May Adams, President; Vera Hardy, and Vera Waite, Counsellors. Mary E. Leavitt is visiting in Moapa Valley with three of her daughters who are living there. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Hardy spent Sunday in Alamo the guests Of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Leavitt. Mrs. Irvin Adams returned from Cedar City last week. She underwent an operation for goitre goi-tre while there. Her health is much improved. Students from here attending Dixie college are Brent Abbott, Hermese Abbott and Elwood Hardy. Har-dy. Weston Adams and Ashel Leavitt Lea-vitt are going to Provo to attend the B. Y. U. Sacrament meeting services were conducted by the primary officers. Nine girls were promoted pro-moted from . the organization and recommended to join the M. I. A. |
