Show NOTICE By order of the City Council, the police department of the city has been instructed- to enforce the traffic regulations. Drivers of cars havt been lax and careless care-less and several accidents have occurred. The officers will give tickets to those found parking improperly, improper-ly, backing on to the wrong side of the street, or turning in the street, except at a button or intersection. in-tersection. ' Stop signs must be observed, and the other usual traffic regulations will be enforced. enforc-ed. The officers will be especially diligent in the business district on First North," Miin and Tabernacle streets, but 'the rules will be in force everywhere within the city limits. Your attention is especially called to the following city ordinance: or-dinance: "Any 'one in charge of or operating a motor vehicle on any street, alley, lane or cross street of the City of St. 'George, desirous of parking the same shall do' so by heading in toward to-ward the curb at an angle of 4 5 degrees, and not within two feet of the curb, keeping the j front of .said motor vehicle headed in the general direction that such vehicle is allowed to operate on that particular side of the street where such vehicle ve-hicle is parking." The City of St. George is- anxious an-xious to cooperate with all persons per-sons and agencies who want to rid the streets and highways of careless drivers, and the officer's will sincerely appreciate the cooperation co-operation of the public in bringing bring-ing this about.
