! BEEHIVE TEST WELL ! DOWN TO 440 FEET Reports from the Beehive dome this morning stated that the drill had now reached a depth of 440 feet and satisfactory satis-factory progress was being made. The California Oil World has a lengthy article concerning the Beehive test well in its issue of April 12. It says the company was recently incorporated in-corporated in California under the name of the St. George Oil Company, with a capital of $200,000, and par value of shares $10. Geological report indicate that oil should be encountered at a depth of between 380 and 500 feet. The officers of the company are as follows: A. D. Thorburn of Clare-mont. Clare-mont. Calif., president, C. C. Norris, of Riverside, vice-president, and George Russell, of Riverside, secretary-treasurer. Offices are in Riverside.
