Randy Felter Fetter of ot V Vernal retired last week after 30 years yeats of ot Federal Fed eral oral service Twenty years of ot this was with the US U.S. Army and the past 10 years veirs has been en with the Bureau of ot Re tie Reclamation reported Palmer DeLong Pro manager of the Central Utah Projects Projects Pro Pro- Office IN RECOGNITION of ot his devoted service Mr Fetter Feller was presented with the Department of ot the Interiors Interior's Carcer Career Car eer Service Certificate and a 30 year 30 year service pin Randy was born in Corinne Utah but was reared west of My Myton ton on a ranch near where Reservoir is is now located lIe He attended I nigh High gh School at Roosevelt and received a BS Degree Degree De De- gree in Agronomy from Utah State University For 20 years Mr Felter Fetter served Inthe Inthe in inthe the US U.S. Army in the Asiatic and Pacific Pacific Pac theaters of action and was on General Gen eral cral McArthurs McArthur's staff in Tokyo He lIe retires retires re re- tires as a Lt Colonel IN 1963 Randy began working with the Bureau of Reclamation on the Vernal Vernal Ver nal Unit of 01 the Central Utah Project lIe He has been employed in drainage and hydrology investigations and at the time of retirement was a Hydraulic cian clan Mr Felter Fetter stated he has enjoyed his work with the Bureau of 01 Reclamation He has appreciated the freedom given n to him of working at assigned jobs and has enjoyed following them through to completion In retirement Randy and his wife Virginia plan to continue living in Vernal Vernal Vernal Ver Ver- nal where Randy says he expects to todo todo todo do some fishing hunting electronics and shop work The couple are parents of two children Allen Lee who lives in Vernal and Marilyn living in Brigham Brigham Brig Brig- ham City They also have six grand grand- children |
