The intensiveness and aggressive award was presented to Michele Swim and Sheryl Neal was given the Lydia Winward Memorial Award by Alta Winward. Michelle Green was awarded award-ed the most inspirational award and Tia Liebhardt was given the hustler award by Jim Abegglen, Ron and , Lana Walker usually present the award, but were unable to be at the awards program. A special service and leadership award was presented to Lisa Oswald and Tammy Lenhart was given the motivation and dedication appreciation apprecia-tion award. Jackie Gray, mother of Uintah girl athlete, Maelyn Gray, was presented an outstanding service award. The outstanding volleyball player award was presented to Maelyn Gray by Greg Hawkins and the most improved im-proved award was given by Pam Beyers of the Vernal City Recreational Department to Suzette Cooper Jackson. The rookie award was given to Jennie Williams and Shari Griffith was presented the golden spike award. Miyako Shiba was given the magic hands award. Mari Green was named as the outstanding basketball player by Uintah Uin-tah basketball coach Loa Kay Bowthorpe and Cindy Anderson picked pick-ed up the most improved award. Liebhardt was presented the rookie award and the most steals award was given to Michelle Green. Kim Droll- V . Julie Crane was selected as the outstanding gymnast by Coach Bowthorpe and Nancy Husch was given the most improved award. Dana Abplanalp was presented the rookie award. Also nabbing awards were: best vault, Lori Sawyer; best floor, Crane; best bars, Lenhart and best beam, Oswald. The rookie a ward was presented to Drni.se Smuin and Cherry Valora was named as the v, inner of the field award.
