State meet begins March 5 The Women's State Bowling Tour-mament Tour-mament will be held at Ute Lanes in Fort Duchesne and at Dinah Bowl in Vernal, beginning on March 5 and 6. The tourney will run for six weeks, but won't be held on the Easter weekend on April 2-3. Singles and doubles will take place at Dinah Bowl. Sessions on March 5 will be held at 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sessions on March 6 will take place at 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Team events will be held at Ute Lanes and the sessions on March 5 will be at noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. The sessions ses-sions on March 6 will be held at 12 noon and 3 p.m. An opening ceremony will be held at the Ute Lanes March 5 at 6 p.m. and Vernal Mayor Sam Snyder will be in attendance. 355 teams will compete in the tournament.
