Edward Mixa of Vernal, became the bride of Bradley W. Walker on Jan. 8. His parents are Dr. and Mrs. Charles O. Walker of Dallas, Texas. The bride and groom are both graduates of Rice University, and the service was held in the Memorial Chapel on the Rice University campus in Houston, Texas. The bride's white satin dress featured a princess line bodice, a V neckline trimmed with appliqued embroidery, and a chapel length train. She wore her mother's pearl necklace and wedding veil. The veil's fingertip net was edged with lace and was crowned with artificial orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of yellow roses, Singapore orchids and baby's breath. She vas attended by Tatiana Tchlokian of Houston, and by her two sisters Kathleen Tarara of Rochester, Minnesota, and Diana Mixa of Vernal. They wore long gowns of royal blue and carried bouquets of blue irises, yd, roses, yellow and white daisies t baby's breath. The groom wore a white tuxedo c a yellow rose boutonniere. The couple spent their honeymoon: Galveston, Texas and will make Ik home in Houston. |
