Show Victim rescued from river Quick action by a by stander near the Split Mountain Park boat ramp in Dinosaur National Monument July 24 saved a man from drowning. Elsbury L. Preston, 21, Magna, was pulled from the Green River after struggling 30 to 40 feet from the shore by Bob Everett Jr., 27, Craig, Colorado, according to a Uintah County Sheriff's report. Preston was treated at the scene by an emergency medical technician stationed at the national monument and taken to Ashley Valley Medical Center. He was later released, the Sheriff's report stated |
