She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz. and will be named Aspen Shae Grandparents are Tom and Sandra Aldndge and Ervin and Elizabeth Harrison. Kerry M. Gardiner and Judith R Tinker were married Friday, Nov. 14 at the home of the groom's parents, Ferris and Grace Gardiner by Bishop Lawrence C. Kay. A reception was held in the Naples cultural hall that evening. Mrs. Donna Tinker, the bride's mother of Las Cruces, New Mexico, attended the wedding and reception. Katherine Gardiner of Provo came home Friday to attend the wedding of her brother, Kerry and Judith Tinker and spent the weekend with her parents, the Ferris Gardiners and family. Ross and Nelma Merrell went to Salt Lake City last Thursday. Glenn and Ada Openshaw went to Provo last Friday Nov. 14 to attend the wedding of their granddaughter, Shari Haslem and Alan G. Calder. Craig and Margji Martin and daughter Brenda went to Salt Lake City last week for medical attention for Brenda. Lorraine Wilson accompanied by Reva Ruppe, Wanda Richards and Manal Nash went to Provo last Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Frank and JoAnn Novinger and children visited over the weekend in Grand Junction, Colo., with their grandmother, Frances Novinger. They also visited the David Dolans in Fruita, Colo. Heber and Vera Harrison were in Phoenix, Ariz., for a few days visiting Ray and Dorothy Jones and family. While there they attended the missionary testimonial of their grandson David Jones who will leave soon for the Coventry England mission. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison received word of a new grandson born Nov. 11 in Salt Lake City to Bishop and Mrs. Val Harrison. The baby weighed 8 lbs. 13 oz. and will be named Phillip Davis. Elaine Roberts of Pleasant Valley visited her aunt, Thelma Manwaring Wednesda . Teresa Kay accompanied by her mother Ida Mortensen went to Salt Lake City on business last Monday. Lee and Charma Karren and their mother Edris Karren, went to Salt Lake City Friday for medical attention for Lee. They were overnight guests of Max and Ilene Harrison in Provo and returned home Saturday. Kenneth and Ora Moon and children of Salt Lake City were here for the Gardiner wedding and reception Friday. Ralph Southam returned to Salt Lake City with them Saturday for a medical checkup. Doris Merrell who attends USU at Logan was home for the weekend with her parents the Dale Merrells and family. Dale and Dorothy Openshaw and son were overnight visitors of their parents Glen and Ada Openshaw Saturday night. Kathy and Annette Evans of Provo also visited the Openshaws. |
