OCR Text	Show I 1 t tROD ROD POWELL Duty to God award presented presente d to Rod Powell Rod Powell son of Mr and Mrs Ron Hon Powell received the Duty To God Award Sunday Oct 16 Rod is a member of the Priest Quorum of Vernal 3rd Ward and an Eagle Scout He has also received the 3 Eagle Palms and this past summer attended the National Scout Jamboree at Moraine State Park in Pennsylvania Rod who has served as President of the Teachers Teacher's Quorum and as 1st and 2nd counselors of the Deacons Deacon's Quorum is also the organist for Vernal 3rd Ward Priesthood meetings A sophomore at Uintah High School Rod is on the Sophomore football team He is employed at The Shaklee Shop operated by his parents The Duty To God award is presented for exercising Duty to God by magnifying the priesthood attending sacrament meetings Sunday School quorum meetings MIA and enrolling in the Seminary program plus all other worthiness wor wor- requirements lift 1111 I
