Show Last Sunday evening the reorganization of the Y. M. M. I. A. of Logan Second ward was effected, with the following officers Jno. (Johnathan) McAlister, president, C. D. W. Fullmer and Joseph Knowles, counselors, James Holland, secretary, H. W. Ballard, Jr. (Junior), treasurer and Geo. (George) Willmore, Librarian. Remarks were made by Supt. (Superintendent) Martineau and Bishop Ballard, who expressed approval of the labors of the former president, Elder Newell W. Kimball, who had been called to fill a mission to the Southern States. A meeting was announced for next Thursday evening at 7 o'clock, for the young men, and one on Wednesday evening next for the young ladies, and general invitations were extended for all to attend. |
