Show Judging from correspondence that we frequently receive, which is designed ???Unreadable??? the subject of writing for the press will not come amiss. The size of paper most convenient for the printer is ordinary commercial note, though other sizes are used. Cut the sheets in two where they are folded, number you pages consecutively, and don't write on both sides of the paper. Remember This. You may think it economy to write on both sides of the paper, but it is not economy for the printer to put such manuscript in type. Use pen and ink rather than a pencil, and please try to write legibly. When you have mastered these simple points, sit down and send us a lively, newsy letter, detailing any events or particulars of interest in your vicinity. Affix any signature you please to the communication, but let us know who you are and where you live, as a guarantee of good faith. We never reveal the name of the contributor or correspondent when requested not to do. Printing office secrets are kept inviolate. |
