Show From a letter which appears elsewhere, in this issue, it seems as though the railroad company had really decided to erect the shops at Eagle Rock. If so, and if those now in Logan are removed, it will, in a pecuniary sense, prove a great detriment to Logan. But this is a world of compensations, and if we lose the shops we shall also avoid the objectionable element which some of our citizens have feared would be drawn here by them. It is still probable that the shops now here will be allowed to remain. |
