Show GIRL SCOUTS TO PRESENT "SINGING XMAS TREE" THURSDAY AT COPPERTON First presentation locally as well as elsewhere in Utah Girl Scouting is the "Singing Christmas Christ-mas Tree", a program consisting of traditional Christmas carols to be presented by Bingham and Copperton Girl Scouts, the night of Thursday, December 20 on the lawn of Bingham high school at Copperton. The program starts at 7:30 p.m. preceding the Candlelight Cand-lelight Service. The girls will be attired in green capes and red hoods. The tree, constructed " and donated do-nated by Kennecott Copper Corp. through the courtesy of L. F. Pett, will be over 10 feet high, accomodating over 50 girls. This is the first year such a program has ever been attempted attempt-ed and if successful will be given annually during the Christmas season. This year's program is under the chairmanship of Mrs. Yvonne Willey. The public is cordially invited to attend. |
