Stoker were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pehrson of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Frank LaComb and Mr. and Mrs J. Lynn Booth. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peterson and son of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and sons of Granger were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever Easter Sunday. j Mr. and Mrs. Royal Shields and sons of Salt Lake City were dinner guests Tuesday, March 27, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hess. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and family Tuesday evening. ev-ening. Mrs. Richard J. Smith was hostess to members of Copperton club at her home on Wednesday evening. A lovely seven o'clock dinner was served after which bridge was played. Those present pres-ent were Miss Mabel Neprud, Miss Laura Marshall, Mrs. Robert Ro-bert H. Bailey, Mrs. E. V. Knud-sen, Knud-sen, Mrs. Eugene Morris, Mrs. I Harold W. Nielsen, Mrs. Odell Peterson and Mrs. O. S. Jensen. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Nielsen, Mrs. Jensen and Miss Neprud. A lovely surprise party was given in honor of Mrs. Eskel Johnson recently. Guests pres-ent pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Hur-i Hur-i ley, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Ham, Gladys Moore, Johnny Brown, i Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson and Eskel Johnson. Delicious refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Johnson was presented a lovely gift by the group. Easter Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Smith were Mr. and Mrs. Mar-len Mar-len Tietjen. An Easter Cantata was given at the sacrament meeting by the Copperton choir at the LDS church at Copperton. STUDY GUILD Copperton Study Guild met Monday evening, March 26, at the homo of Mrs. Enid Curry with Mrs. Maxine Gaythwaite as cohostess. Twenty-two members mem-bers were present and one guest, Mrs. Louise Bailey. A business meeting was conducted con-ducted by Mrs. Neva Jensen, president. The bake sale held that afternoon was a success, netting $32.85 to be turned over to the Girl Scouts of Bingham district for their summer project, pro-ject, it was reported. Program chairman, Mrs. Helen Cunliffe, introduced the guest speaker for the evening, Mrs. Joel P. Jensen, who reviewed the book "Hope of Earth" by Runbeck which was enjoyed very much by all. Delicious refreshments were served. Next meeting of the Guild will be held at the home of Mrs. Lois |
