Show E. W. Schonian Taken By Death piiC, - mm At 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon E. W. 'Schonian passed to his final rest. Mr. Schonian had been nlling for two years. About two years ago he was taken with the flu and was never able to recover. Last winter he and Mrs. Schonian spent the winter In St. George, returning here in the spring. He made considerable improvement 'during the past few months, and only last Sunday week heemarked he was feeling so well. He went out and chopped chop-ped some wood which seemed to throw him back, and his condition from that time has been considered serious. The immediate cause of death was a complication of bronchlcal asthma, causing a lesion of the lungs. A bad attack of pleurisy resulted in the last illness. The deceased was born November 7 180-1 in Braunschweig, Germany. He came to the United States in 18S4 and , immediately took out his naturalization naturaliza-tion papers in New York City. In 1800 he came to Denver, Colorado and taught music for a good many years. He was married to Miss Ollea Kriege, Octet1 tor 5, 1807. In 1007, August, 10th. he came to Duchesne and filed on a homestead on the Blue Bench. About 11 years ago he went into the furni-ture furni-ture business which lie continued until un-til his death. It Is unnecessary to laud the good citizenship and high integrity of the deceased among those who knew him. He was scrupulously honest in every detail and enjoyed the confidence of all with whom he came in contact. Mr. Schonian is survived by his widow, son. Boy, and daughter, Mrs. J. II. Pope of Duchesne. By a sister in San Francisco, Auguste Schonian. The disposition of the body is to be arranged later. |
