Show TALMAGK Mr. and iMr3. Joe Josie were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Mayhew on Sunday evening. . Mr. and Mrs. Arley Sorenson, Mr. and Mrs. Burtico Sorenson, Mr. and Mrs, Homer Sulser and their children Glendon Sorensen and Mi33 Alice Bergener all of Midway were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mr3. Chris Sorensen on Sunday returning to their homo in Midway on Monday. Ralph Halstead and' Wm. Beck-Btead Beck-Btead returned ' on Saturday from California where they had spent the past five weeks visiting with George and Floyd Halstead brothers of Ralph. They say they can't see where California has anything over Utah. Mr. and Mr3. Byron Ottosen stopped stopp-ed here on Saturday' night .on their way from Provo to their home In Meeker, Colo. They were guc3ts of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Frisby. A surprise parly was given Miss Leone Beck-stead Beck-stead on Monday afternoon the occasion oc-casion being bar 12th birthday. Those present were the Misses Florence Flor-ence Ottfjsen, Phyllis McDonald, Madgo McDonald, Wanda McDonald. Barbara Kelsey, Addie Davies, Lois Behunin, Hope and Beth Allrocl and J Edna Rust, Keith McDonald. Paul Burton, Marley Davies and Walter Ivonison. Tho time va3 spent in playing games after which sandwiches, sand-wiches, cake and cocoa wa3 served to all. Shelby Mayhew has bought tho west forty acre3 of the Wm. Thompson Thomp-son homestead nnd i3 building a hoine .on it which will be ready to move his family into in the very-near very-near future. Miss Leah Becksead returned to Duche3ne on Monday where she will work for Mrs. Lawrence Pack. The Talmage orchestra furnished the music for the dance in the new ward house in Arcadia last Friday night. A one act play "The club faces the facts' was given on Saturday evening even-ing by the Beehive girls. A dance followed the -play. |
