Show l Mrs. John Benson, a pioneer in Ilka, left last week, for Shelly, Idaho, to spend the winter with her son, Maurice Benson and a daughter who lives in that state. o James Lloyd and O. A. Dart Dry Gulch Board Directors, were Inspecting ditches and roads Tuesday Tues-day with the view to protect the Board from Ditch water which caused an unbearable condition winter. W. G. Gentry, notwithstanding the depression and the low price of cattle will feed a car of beef cattle as usual this winter. Last Saturday evening the J. W. Jensen family entertained, H. C. Ward and wife of Myton and Miss LaRue Neilson and the Gentry family of Ioka with cards and a turkey dinner, a splendid time was enjoyed by all with a dinner the kind mother used to cook. Our school with Mr. Paul Johnson John-son principal and Miss La Rue Neilson, teachers are preparing to give the school children a happy and proper send off when closing for the holidays. The Ioka P. T. A. after hibernating hiber-nating for one meeting showed real life and pep. Wednesday evening eve-ning at their regular meeting by giving a good program as well as much interesting discussions to a splendid attendance. Either Webb who had the misfortune mis-fortune of falling from the running board of a car sometime ago, breaking several bones and receiving re-ceiving bad bruises is slowly recovering. re-covering. We hear much talk these days about the honest dollar, the sound dollars, the balony dollar,' the ruber rub-er dollar, the silver dollar the gold dollar, Etc., and for fear someone may be in doubt we wish to serve notice now that we will take any or all of them without question. |
