Cline left this week for California where he will spend some time. Sheriff Arzy Mitchell made a business trip to Provo and Park City, returning' to Duchesne on Thursday. , Mr. & Mrs. Preston Nutter of Nine Mile were transacting business busi-ness in Duchesne on Monday. Zella Rust of Mt. Emmons is in Duchesneat present, where she Is employed as a stenographer in the Civil Works Administration office. Waldine Evans of Boneta stopped stop-ped in Duchesne Monday, enroute to Nine Mile where she will spend some time. , Elsie Johnson and . Nellie H. Jone3 have been employed in the County Treasurer's office this week assisting in preparing the de linquent lists for publication. R. A. Gillis and Arthur Havener of the State Road Commission spent several days this week in the Basin on official business. Wilford W. McConkie of Roosevelt Roos-evelt was transacting business in Duchesne Wednesday. Andrew Anderson of Ogden of the firm of Wayne E. Mayhew Company, Accountants ,is spending spend-ing this week in Duchesne, auditing aud-iting the accounts of Duchesne County. o Tth P. T. A. Committees held a meeting at the school house Tuesday evening and discussed the matter of a Christmns Party. Tt was decided that the school would present their Christmas program on the regular P. T. A. meeting night and that the next meeting of the P. T. A. would be held the thtird Thursday of January. Don't forget the Big Barn Dance to be given at the Duchesne Ward Hall, December 29th at 9:00 P. M. Dress for the occasion. The public Is Invited. Mr. & Mrs. Irvin Cole and Mrs. H. A.
