Show Mrs, Emery Smith entertained Wednesday evening in honor of i her mother, Mrs. Evans, who has ' been visiting her daughter this week. Games were played and a delicious lunch was served to twenty-four guests. Mrs. Geo. W. Worthen, Department Depart-ment President of the American Legion Auxiliary of Utah, visited the BasinUnits Saturday. A joint meeting of the Duchesne and Myton My-ton Units was held in Duchesne Saturday evening at which Mrs. Worthen installed the Myton officers off-icers as follows: Miss Alice Todd. President: Mrs. B. L. Dart. First Vice President: Mrs. Harold Tut-tle, Tut-tle, Second Vive President; Mrs. Ralph Walker, Secretary; Mrs. Nivin Frizzell, Treasurer; Mrs. I. R. Tuttle Chaplain. Other Myton members present were: Mrs. Alva Dart, Mrs. W. R. Harris and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Oscar Adams and W. E. Harris are leaving for Elk Springs Friday Fri-day on a business trip. Mrs. A. M. Todd left last Friday Fri-day for Salt Lake City where she will visit her daughter, Mrs. Geo. E. Philipps. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish attended the annual American Legion Auxiliary Hallowe'en card party in Duchesne Monday night. Mrs. Henry Funk was an outgoing out-going passenger on Tuesday's stage. She will visit relatives in Salt Lake City for several days. Three of the Myton teachers, I Miss Violet Duke, Miss Mabel j Chapman and Miss Georgia Philipps Phil-ipps attended the annual session of the U. E. A. in Salt Lake City last week-end. Mrs. B. L. Dart entertained at bridge Tuesday afternoon in honor of her sister, Miss Vera Kempton. The invited guests were: Mrs. W. R. Preece, Mrs. Harold Tuttle, Mrs. W. R. Harris, Mrs. John Zir-ker, Zir-ker, Mrs. Paul Henderson, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs. George Tingley. Sr., Mrs. George Tingley Jr., Mrs. Marcus Tingley, Mrs. Fred Burger, Mrs. Harold Knud-sen, Knud-sen, Mrs. Alva Dart, Mrs. Ralph Walker and Miss Alice Todd. Mrs. Henderson was winner of the high score. Mrs. Evans Phillips accompanied accompan-ied Miss Viojet Duke to Salt Lake City Thursday. She met her sisters sis-ters there and returned with them to Logan where she will visit with her parents. Mrs. Emery Nielson gave a shower for her daughter Mrs. Fay Anderson last Thursday in the L. D. S. meeting house. The bride received many beautiful and useful use-ful gifts. |
