Show County Clerk and G. V. . Billings Make : Trip to Salt Lake Chairman of the Board of County Co-unty Commissioners, G. V. Billings, Bill-ings, and County Clerk, Wm. R Case, made a hurried trip to Salt Lake City, Monday, which trip was made in response to a call from the . Federal Emergency Relief Re-lief Director of Utah, Robert H. Hinckley. - ': . At this meeting the Relief for Utah was discussed at considerable consider-able length and it was' revealed that $3,667,000. had been received from the National Government and that 18 per cent of the population pop-ulation of Utah was receiving aid. According to present plans requisitions re-quisitions issued from ' Duchesne office will be paid by the State Auditor from his office in "Salt Lake City, Utah, these requisitions requisit-ions must be returned by the Merchant Mer-chant to the Central Committee and they in " turn will approve them and forward to the Relief Committee in Salt Lake,' who then will-turn them to the, Auditor for payment. Merchants will experience, ex-perience, no doubt, some delay in getting their money for good but in order to avoid such delays it is planned , that these payments will be made by the State Auditor on the 15th and 25th of each month. An unemployment Relief Census is being called for by the National Government which must be completed com-pleted within the next few days in all Counties of the State. Hereafter according to the new ruling all individuals receiving relief re-lief orders must designate the Merchants name on all of them fore they leave the office in Duchesne. Du-chesne. WILLIAM H.
