Show SOCIETY The American Legion Auxiliary held its Annual Hallowe'en Card Party at the Legion Chateau, Friday evening. . Approximately 30 people were present and enjoy-, ed an evening of cards, after which refreshments were served by members of the auxiliary. Mrs. R. G. Porter and Dwight Wadleigh . were the winners of the high score prizes. . State Department President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Mrs. George W. Worthen of Provo, was the honored guest at a banquet, ban-quet, held at the New Palace Cafe, given by the Legion Auxialiary. Ten members from Duchesne and nine My ton Auxialiary members were present and -enjoyed a very interesting talk by Mrs. Worthen. After the banquet, the party went to the Legion Chateau, where bridge was played, with Miss Alice Todd of Myton winning high score prize and a gift was presented to the guest of honor. The ladies literary club was entertained en-tertained at the home of Mrs. C. H. Selch Saturday afternoon. Current Cur-rent events were given by the members and refreshments served. Those present were: Mrs. J. P. Madsen, Mrs. A. J. Orr, Mrs. E. W. Crocker, Mrs. P. M. Poulson and the hostess. |
