Show COLLETTS RETURN FROM S.C. TRIP The Byron S. Colletts are back from a trip to Charleston, S. C. and the area in Washington, Washing-ton, D. C They went to Denver Den-ver March 8 and met their daughter, dau-ghter, Mrs. Ellis Ray (Nina) Peterson and two children, Byron By-ron and Ruth, of Boise, Idaho. They all went by train to the Eastern Seaboard, via Chicago, Washington D. C. At Charleston, they visited with Renae and daughter, Jessica, and the hus-barid hus-barid ana father, James A John-stun, John-stun, formerly of Duchesne. He is a atomic submarine technician, techni-cian, and is serving in the U. S. Navy. The vacationers were impressed im-pressed by the pomp and ceremony cere-mony of the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Un-known Soldier, the beauty of the Arlington Cemetery, the rooms restored at the White House by Mrs. Kennedy, and other parts of the White House and the Capitol Building, housing developments develop-ments being constructed for the lower income people in these big cities, and the muddy Mississippi River, and many other points of interest on this trip. They returned to Duchesne Saturday night. Mrs. Peterson and children returned to Duchesne with them by automobile and will remain here this week before be-fore returning to Boise. |
