Show ZONING ORDINANCE PROGRESSING IN DUCHESNE A meeting of the Duchesne City Planning Board was held Friday night at the courthouse. I. Dale Despain, Provo, planning plan-ning consultant, conducted the meeting. Darril L. French, assistant planning coordinator, from the office of the Governor of Utah, attended the meeting. Members of the planning board vho were present for this meeting are Keith R. Hooper, Fred Pope, Dale Workman, Work-man, Bruce V. Smith, Mrs. Goldie G. Wilckcn. Mrs. Dona B. Hansen, another member mem-ber of this planning board, vas out of town. One more member is to be appointed to the board, which was organized by the city council. Other city councilmen attending the meeting were Ray Horrocks, Mont S. Poulson, and Mayor Clifton C. Mickelson, and Luran L. Allred, city recorder. Milton T. Poulson attended the meeting as a building inspector, in-spector, employed by the planning consultant. The first ordinance adopted is commonly known as "a building ordinance", promulgate: temporary regulations vithin Duchesne City pertaining to the erection, construction, reconstruction or alteration of buildings to be used for commercial com-mercial or industrial purposes, or the use of land for any such purposes; establishes minimum mini-mum front, side and rear yard requirements for residental buildings to be constructed or situated; provides for the administration ad-ministration of this ordinance and declaring an emergency. The other ordinance adopt ed defines and regulates trailer f houses and trailer courts to be established within the city. Both ordinances are in effect as of March 21, 1966. They have been duly posted by the city clerk. The Duchesne City Council met in executive session Monday night and adopted the ordinances, ordi-nances, upon recommendation of the planning committee, and approved the appointment of Milton T. Poulson as building build-ing inspector for the city. |
