Show iili i mv New drapes are being made for the Duchesne Stake and Wards Relief Society Room. Last week, five ladies went to Salt Lake City and choose the material for the pull drapes and the sheer curtains. These ladies helping with the selection select-ion of the material were Mrs. Marvella Wilkerson, Mrs. Alice Moon, Mrs. Mary Hooper, Mrs. Marie Kielbasa, of the Relief Society organization of the two Duchesne Wards, and Mrs. Mary C. Boender, home demonstration agent for Duchesne County. The drapes and curtains are being made by the company which sold the beige -shade material to the Relief Society. Mrs. Marvella Wilkerson, who reported the news, said possibly the draperies and curtains cur-tains would be finished and installed by the end of the month. The Duchesne Ward held their Hawaiian Luau Tuesday, May 3. It was reported to have been very successful. The atmosphere was complete-i ly Hawaiian. Refreshments included fresh pineapple and coconut and Hawaiian casserole. casser-ole. Hawaiian dances were done and a good time was enjoyed by all. There were about 45 in attendance including officers. |
