Show WILLIAM ODEKIRK PARTICIPATES IN CLOVER HITCH Army rFC William B. Odekirk, son of Mr. & Mrs. Earnest W. Odekirk, Bountiful, and grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Earnest Odekirk, Duchesne, is among 1700 101st Airborne Division paratroopers from Fort Campbell Ky. , participating partici-pating in Exercise Clove Hitch. Afour-day amphibious-airborne maneuver ending April 1 in the Camp Lejeune -Onslow Beach area. Odekirksfs Unit, Company A, 1st Battalion of the division's 501st Infantry, is one of the army' elements taking part in the exercise, designed to increase i proficiency in amphibious and airborne operations and to perfect coordination between army, navy, air force and marine forces. The 19 year old soldier grenadier with the company, entered the army in July 1965. He received, his basic trainning at Fort Ord, Calif. He is a graduate of Bountiful High School. |
