Show GRAND. It is with some regret that the announcement is made to-day that the coming week at the Grand will sec the final appearance at that theatre this season of the Theodore Lorch company of players and of the star himself. Mr. Lorch and his company have become very popular at the Grand. They are to be followed there by the Earl Burgess Stock Company of New York. The Lorch company will present "The James Boys" as the final play of the. engagement, and it will be for the first half of the week only, opening Sunday night and closing Wednesday night. Tuesday afternoon there will be a special testimonial performance of "The Lieutenant and the Cowboy," Cow-boy," by Mr. Lorch, at the Grand. This is the play he has already appeared so advantageously in twice here this season. The engagement of the Burgess company will begin at the Grand Thursday evening, when "Queen of the White Slaves" will be presented. pre-sented. The engagement will be for the rest of the week, after which the company will be seen in some very pretentious productions along the melodrama line. Mr. Horace V. Noble is the leading man with the company and Miss Dorothy Markc is the leading woman. ' v -' u Q The Three Sisters Macarte at the Orpheum Next Week. |
