Show KATHERINE RIDGEWAY RECITAL. The last number in the University of Utah course will be given when Katherine Ridgeway, the noted reader, assisted by Donald Chalmers, baritone, and Fay LeGrange, pianist, appear at the First Congregational church next Tuesday evening. This course has proven one of the most delightful treats given Salt Lake in years. But as a "fitting finale comes this talented lady and her accomplished assistants. It is generally conceded that the Katherine Ridgeway Concert Company is one of the most popular organizations on the Lyceum platform. Miss Ridgeway, is, without doubt, the best known reader of the present generation. Outside a native talent, developed to a remarkable degree, she possesses every requirement that looks to giving a finished and perfected performance. She has unerring judgment judg-ment in deciding what the people like. Hers is the gospel of "good cheer." She appears for the one night only. |
