Show On August 8 an individual individ-ual was acting in a play at a local business. The victim had left his personal items in a changing area, unsecured. An unknown suspect stole the victim's wallet. The victim vic-tim had cancelled his bank card and provided information informa-tion as to the contents of the wallet.. The reporting party reported that she left her purse at the cashiers check out in the store and when she returned, the purse was gone. On July 19 two suspects entered the Walmart in Lindon. The suspects then removed items from the shelves and fraudulently fraudu-lently returned them for in-store credit. The suspect's left the store without incident. On August 3 it was learned that the in-store credit card was used in Tennessee at a Walmart. This case will be forwarded to investigations. On August 5 officers responded re-sponded to Walmart on a report of a male individual in a vehicle huffing. One male was found in a vehicle and appeared to be under un-der the influence. One male was transported to the Lindon Police Department where he was cited and released for DUI. On August 7 an officer was dispatched to a death investigation. investiga-tion. While on scene, he found a drug possession incident involving involv-ing marijuana occurred. The officer of-ficer collected the found drugs and related paraphernalia and booked it to be destroyed. No charges were filed as the party in possession was deceased. On August 9 a male was arrested ar-rested at his home on warrants in related cases. During the arrest, drug paraphernalia was located. The male was booked into county jail on the paraphernalia parapher-nalia charge in this case as well as warrants in related cases. On August 7 an officer made contact with the reporting report-ing party concerning a theft of a riding lawn mower. He advised that he had worked out the situation situa-tion with the suspect and he did not need any further help. The officer asked him again he again told him he did not need any police po-lice assistance. |
