Show Crusade for Christ Set at Moab Church Furing the week, Aug. II-20, II-20, there will Ik a (Vusaili for Christ, at First Baptist . Church in Moab. The crusade, cru-sade, which is heiug led hy the youth of the church, will have the theme, "Meet Jo-sus." Jo-sus." Plans include social visitations, Rihle studies, prayer moorings, and wit-mssing wit-mssing classes. The evangelistic evange-listic meetings of the crusade cru-sade will begin on Wednesday evening and continue through Sunday. Several special guests are being brought in to help will) the-crusr.de. Tho evangelist, Rev. Ronald A. Fullorton. is the Associate Pastor of the Ilillcrest Heights Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Rev. Fuller! on is an expor. ieliced youth worker and evangelist. There are also going to be several young people from tho Mt. View-Baptist View-Baptist Church in El Paso, Texas, here for the crusade. They will bo leading the singing, playing the piano, and leading some of tho classes. Some of these young people were with the group which was here in the first week in July. They include: Robert Dunn, a youth evangelist, evange-list, preaching since he was 16. He was active in high school activities and in liU church. Tony Fonze .a gospel singer sing-er and guitarist. He has sung with many well known evangelists, evan-gelists, including Bob Harrington. Har-rington. Tony writes many of his own songs. Carey Wright, pianist, has played in many crusades. She was voted the most beautiful beau-tiful girl in her high school graduating class. Chuck Beckham, a young man who tried drugs, everything every-thing else, and finally found Jesus the answer. He tells everyone he meets that Jesus Je-sus is the answer. Jerry Hartt. another young man who has let Jesus control his life, and always tells others is also along. Ho and Chuck will teach some of the clas- Ses. Sylvia Rodgers .active in many high school activities, including cheerleading and student council, litis a vivacious viva-cious personality and a great love for Jesus. Mary Jo Austin, n recent high school graduate, is ac-tive ac-tive in many activities and also in her church. Some of these young people aro also just recenlty returned from the EXPLO '72 in Dallas. Everyone in the community commun-ity is invited to the services. The young people aro leading, lead-ing, hut everyone is invited. The evening services will be at 7:30 cadi evening Wednesday Wednes-day through Sunday, and tho Sunday morning service is at 11 with Sunday School at 9 45. The church is located at 420 MiVida Dr., just across from the city park and Helen M. Knight Elementary. |
