J Jim White, Undefeated, 14-0 Record White Leads Devil Matmen In Wins During the Year Senior grappler Jim White boasts the top record for Red Devil matmen after fourteen trips to the mat with a perfect per-fect 14-0 record. White, who wrestles in the tough 155 pound bracket, lost only one match in the entire year last season and has kept the record unblemished this year. He also is tied for the second highest number of pins at five. Sophomore Mike Neal, despite de-spite some illness that handicapped handi-capped him this year, ranks second in percentages with a 7-2 record and four pins. Another soph, Mike Holyoak, is the leader in pins scored! with six despite a winning record of only 7-6.. Like Holy-oak, Holy-oak, senior Lonnie Hass has a pin or lose type record with five pins in his 6-5 record. Neither Holyoak or Hass has lost by pin. Another fine record has been chalked up by mi9t Paul Wyatt. Wyatt is 9-4 with some narrow losses against tough opponents and has not been pinned. The Devils were due to meet San Juan Wednesday night at Moab. The southern division meet is Feb. 10, at Moab. Uintah hosts the region re-gion meet on Feb. 18-19. |
