Linden Curtis Speaker At Baccalaureate Services Baccalaureate Services for , the Class of 1972 will be held this Sunday evening at 8:00 P-m. at the LDS Church. t-Guest speaker to present the -baccalaureate sermon will be Rev. Linden T. Curtis, Pastor of the First Assembly Assem-bly of God Church in Moab. "The motivating force of my life is to preach the gos-Pel gos-Pel of Jesus Christ and tc .share him with my fellow man," remarked Rev. Curtis k when asked about his obligation obliga-tion to the senior class. His ' active life of service to his 'V TV. J -i Reverend Curtis i church began with his study at Bethany College in Santa Cruz, Calif. Rev. Curtis has been recognized rec-ognized for his work with various scholastic awards during his educational years, and was honored in "Who's Who Among Students in American Am-erican Colleges and Universities. Univer-sities. He has preached in Wyoming, Idaho and Oregon, and keeps up with several hobbies including motorcycles and riding in rodeos. He has a desire to travel, and hopes to do a little later in his career. The Baccalaureate Services are an annual event which leads off the graduation week activities for the Senior Class of Grand County High School. The processional will be played by Mrs. Joanne Cox, after which the invocation will be given by Jon Boyden The welcome will be kiven by Kim McDougald, vice president pre-sident of the class, and the Scripture reading will be given gi-ven by Becky Wilson. Two numbers, "Prayer Perfect," and "Victory of Life" will be presented by the Girls Glee and Mixed Chorus, under the direction of Wendell Bowthorpe. The speaker will be introduced by the Senior Class President, Presi-dent, Leonard Walterschied, and the benediction will b? given By Vicki Barker. |
