Lowther, Domu Jean Lowther and Tim (Spencer Photo) Couples United in Double Ceremony Here Sept. 4 Moab's Community Baptist Bap-tist Church was the scene of a double wedding ceremony performed by The Rev. E. M. Balla on Thursday, Sept. 4th. The ceremony united Judy K. Lowther of Moab and Jeffery Lynn Meadows, son of Mr. and Mrs. Olin Meadows Mea-dows of Huntington, West Virginia; and Donna Jean Lowther and Tim Lavcn Dull, son of Mrs. Lois Dull of Moab. The brides are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Lowther of Moab. The Misses Lowther each wore a floor length A-line gown of white sparkle crepe with a lace neckline and cuffs. Their fingertip veils of bridal illusion drifted from headpieces surrounded by seed pearls. At the altar, a basket if yellow dahlias and blue ribbon rib-bon roses, arranged by Mrs. .Margaret (j.iskiii. was Hanked Hank-ed by two candlcabra filled with white tapers. The two brides enrriej bouquets of white carnatiors and lilly of the valley wi'.il cascading orange and blue ribbons. Linda Turner, maid of honor, wore a street length dress of orange brocade and a wrist let bouquet of w hite glamelias. Duane Dull was best man. Mrs. Ol.i Walker provided the organ music for the couples cou-ples and Paul Drake sat1; "More" as the pairs signed the wedding certificates. Mike Lowther served as head u-hor with Kay Yann and Shane and Brandon Mer-rctt Mer-rctt assisting. Mr. Lowther ar.d Shane Merrett lighted the tapers. The mother of the brides wore a beige bonded doubb knit dress with brown accessories. acces-sories. Mrs. Lois Dull, mother mo-ther of Tim Dull, wore a multi-celi ir dress of black brocade with black accessories. accessor-ies. Both mothers wore corsages cor-sages of white glamelias. A reception honoring thr. two couples was held Immediately Im-mediately after the ce-mony ce-mony in the Community Bao-tist Bao-tist Church Fellowship Hall. The hall was hung with white wedding K. lis and the tables were adorned with a snif'er holding a gold dahiia surrounded with blue ar.d geld ribbon roses. The 3-ticred cake, which was d' eorated and cut by Mrs. Ann Finch, r. carried blue ar.d orange re.se buds and was tepp'-d by a miniature minia-ture bride and groom. Ti'dds Robertson and Carol Car-ol Turner were in charge of refreshments. with Lora Hopkins at the guest book. Gifts were taken by Eu'.ova Turner. Susan Hirgins and Libby Phillips. Out of town guest's included: includ-ed: Mrs. Acit s Grimm cf S. u:h Fork.' Colorado, and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Dull ar.d family of San Mlg-je!, Arizona.
