Show Court Action Heavy After Week Off City Court which reconvened recon-vened after an absence of City Judge Donald Crist was unable to hear all the cases that had accumulated in his absence, according to clerk, Euteva Turner, who said there were several more DWI charges left to hear. , On Sept. 4, Edward L. Jones of Jefferson, Indiana, who was charged by Trooper Troop-er Kay Jewkes of the Utah Highway Patrol for DWI, was found guilty and was sentenced to 60 days in the County Jail. , Judge Crist found Frank W. Roseman of Price guilty of carrying a concealed weapon wea-pon on Sept. 8, and sentenced sentenc-ed him to three days in jail, but on condition that he leave town, two days were suspended. A fine of $125 was the result re-sult of a change in charges leveled aginst Don Percy of Monticello on Sept. 9. Mr. Percy had been charged with DWI but on a motion by the city attorney the charge was changed to reckless driving and Mr. Percy plead guilty. Boyd Kenneth White had the court several times on previously appeared before charges of public intoxication and disturbance. Each time he appeared he was told that sentence would be suspended if he left town. Tuesday, Sept. 9, he appeared again and was sentenced to 90 days in jail. : - " . - |
