Show Thompson News Notes. . ., Virginia Gruver By Betty Jeffries The snow took its toll at Crescent Junction Wednesday. It was so heavy on Pat and Gerri Wimmer's patio cover that it caved it in and in falling, broke their sliding slid-ing glass doors. Also the weight of the snow on their horse shelter caused caus-ed it to cave in and fell on fell on their stud horse breaking his leg. They had to have the horse shot. Wednesday, Kyla Jeffries Jef-fries call husband, Joe, to tell him that she and her dad had braved the storm from Texas and were in Moab. Joe went down Thursday and picked pick-ed Kyla up at her folks .home (Dub and Gwen Chambers). Thursday, Hetty .Jeffries .Jef-fries took Grandma Clark to Allen Memorial Hospital to spend a few days They nrc going to do tests on Grandma. Saturday, Hetty picked up Grandma Clark and brought her home. Gerri Wimmer took a car load of girls including includ-ing her own, up to Salt Lake City Saturday. The girls belong to K.Y.C. in Moab. The program th2 girls were to attend was cancelled because of the weather. The girls had a good time anyhow as they went skiing at Alta. Jess Gruver spent most of Saturday with his mother, Virginia, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. Jess said that he found Virginia doing much better. |
