Show If? GrTRiver I (!T&P 3 New Boats Keith Carter and Chris Burrows brought their Leyland boats into Green River on Sunday afternoon to show to the local boaters. They set the boats up at the Aniii Quayle warehouse. The boats are nylon-neoprene nylon-neoprene float rafts, and are made in England. They come in a variety of sizes from the 12" through 1-4'. 17"6". 20", 22' and 27' range, with side tubes 22' long. They are made in 3 weights of nylon, and some of them are self-bailing with lace-in floors. Special models can be built, but the range is wide enough to carry almost any kind needed for running white water. Amil stated they looked very good to him, which is a strong recommendation. The two boats they had inflated were comparable to the Green River and the Salmon, and they looked great. Carter and Burrows stated that most of the white water expedition outfits are in the United States, a great many of them in Utah. The boys are showing their boats, and probably will set up a dealership somewhere in the West before returning to their homes in Engalnd. They will attend the Guides meeting at Jackson next month.
