Show Contest off and running The Times-Independent Big Prize Circulation Contest is off to a good start. "A number of local people, both adults and young people, have signed up as contestants for the $1,000 grand prize, and more will be interviewed this week and next," reported Dick Kalebjian, contest manager. "Many more participants are needed to adequately cover the area in the short time allotted to the contest and I am ready and eager to talk with all interested," said Kalebjian. "Obviously, those who enter early have a distinct advantage in the race for the six big prizes," he added. Those who would like to become involved in this exciting and rewarding effort may take the mat step by dropping in at the contest office located at The Times-Independent, 35 East Center. Cen-ter. "Just ask for Dick, or the contest manager, and we'll be glad to talk with you and answer any further questions you may have about the circulation drive," said Kalebjian. "If you can't drop in, then give us a call at 259-7525." Kalebjian, who provides his circulation service t5o newspapers throughout the country, has been engaged by The Times to handle the entire contest program. |
