Show ttfil flit's Your Wildlife ' YV'C$V1 ilS ' B Carter By Garth Carter Nature doesn't alwavs favor fav-or man's wishes. In fisheries system such as our lakes, streams and reservoirs, with the present variety of fish species man often soon becomes be-comes disenchanted with his catch. Rough fish like Carp and Chubs often overpopulate creating cre-ating undesirable habitat for the more palatable game fish To alter this occurrence the Division of Wildlife Resources attempts to eliminate rough fish whenever feasible. Due to this year's drought, water levels are low, thus, expenses involved in treating troubled waters will be less. Since all fish will die during treatment, changes in fishing regulations are appropriate. There will be no creel limits and no restrictions on the numbers of poles used for the remainder of the season in the following waters: Scofield Reservoir Carbon County. Before polishing any lens, always clear it of anything that might be abrasive with a soft bristle brush, or blow on it (Field and Stream, March 1976) -gkc- |
