The line, which is ". I expected to alleviate water shortages in the community during the coming summer, was completed in record :: time by the contractor, and was cleaned and tested s Tuesday. The total cost of connecting the big new well into the city's system was $151,235. The well itself cost the city $61,000; materials for the pipeline cost $70,216 and the contract for laying the pipe was $19,907. Only one piece of equipment is yet to be installed, a metering device which goes in the cement box in the foreground. But the well can be used without the meter until it arrives, Mr. Bretzke said. |
